The Vile Village
The Vile Village, a 256 book, the 7th book in The Series of Unfortunate Events, tells about the Baudelaires and their fight for survival. As anyone who has read these thrilling novels before knows, these books is a story of the Baudelaire orphans' life. Their parents perished in a fire along with their home and everything they loved. They are tracked down by an evil man, Count Olaf, who is determined to steal the Baudelaire fortune. In this book they are chased to the Village of Fowl Devotees in a program based on the saying " it takes a village to raise a child". Their friends Isadora and Duncan are appearing and disappearing quicker than one can say " supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". I recommend this book to anyone, to learn more about the Baudelaires read the books!
The Hostile Hospital
This 255 page book is about the many downs of the Baudelaire orphans and how their life, sadly, is not looking up. The Hostile Hospital, by Lemony Snicket, tells the story of the Baudelaire orphans and their journey to a hospital that isn't so helpful. This book includes a hook-handed man, some powder-faced women, and particularly rusty knife. This is the eighth book in The series of Unfortunate Events, and it has recently been said that the Baudelaires are wretched murderers. How will this all unfold? Read the books to figure it out!

The Carnivorous Carnival
Caligari Carnival, by Lemony Snicket, is a fabulously vicious 286 page book, full of villainous freaks, and freakish villains. As the 9th book in the Series of Unfortunate Events, it picks up where the last book, Hostile Hospital, left off. The children hop in the trunk of an evil villain, Count Olaf. He unknowingly drives them through the desert with three orphan stowaways in the trunk of his car. When he finally stops, he is at the grounds of a carnival. The children disguise themselves so people won't notice them as the murderous orphans and start to understand how nobody notices that Olaf is Olaf when he is in his disguises. It takes a turn for the worst as soon, Olaf finds out that they truly are the Baudelaire orphans and attempt to throw them into a pit of lions. Read this book if you want to enjoy the thrill of the Baudelaire orphans and their story of a series of unfortunate events.
